Monoï Body Butter

Soft, creamy and naturally floral. This body butter combines shea butter with genuine Monoï de Tahiti, jojoba oil and a slow calendula maceration.

The subtle tropical scent comes naturally from the Monoï itself, while arrowroot helps give the butter a light, silky finish on the skin.

The story behind Monoï

The Monoï de Tahiti used in this body butter comes from Tahiti and is made in the traditional way. Freshly opened Tiaré flowers (Gardenia tahitensis) are macerated in coconut oil with the flowers regularly renewed before the finished oil is carefully filtered.

The result is a beautifully subtle, naturally floral oil.

Many of erdiva's botanicals start in my garden. Tiaré, unsurprisingly, does not — the Swiss climate has its limits! For the Monoï Body Butter, I use genuine Monoï de Tahiti, made according to its traditional method and protected origin.
